What you'll do

• Drive a variety of vehicles including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload freight while ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Navigate assigned routes while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
• Operate forklifts as needed for loading and unloading tasks.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual transmission driving when required.

Basic qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for vehicle type.
• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or similar vehicles.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience as a delivery driver with a strong focus on customer service.
• Familiarity with route driving and logistics planning.
• Ability to operate both manual transmission vehicles and automatic vehicles proficiently.
