Momo Izakaya is a modern Japanese izakaya in Miami Beach, created under the vision of Chef Paulo Airaudo. Inspired by Tokyo neighborhood izakayas, we combine refined technique with warm, energetic hospitality. We are seeking an experienced Hostess / Reservation Coordinator to be the first impression of our guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests professionally and warmly upon arrival
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest notes using SevenRoomsand OpenTable
• Coordinate seating flow with management, servers, and kitchen
• Handle walk-ins, VIP reservations, and special requests
• Maintain accurate guest profiles and reservation details
• Answer phones and guest inquiries with confidence and clarity
• Support smooth service flow in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years hostess experience in a full-service restaurant
• Experience with SevenRooms and/or OpenTable required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and calm demeanor under pressure
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays

Preferred

• Experience in Japanese, fine dining, or chef-driven restaurants
• VIP or reservation-driven service experience
• Spanish or Japanese language skills (a plus)
