Holland Interface Solutions, a division of Holland 1916, focuses on the design and manufacture of custom touchscreens, displays, keypads, and graphic overlays for demanding industrial and commercial applications. As this business continues to grow, we are looking to add a talented Electrical Engineer to our team.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Interface Solutions team in North Kansas City. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on project engineering, solving real-world customer design challenges, and serving as a technical resource both internally and externally.

You will work closely with sales, engineering, quality, supply chain, and customers to help specify the right display and interface solutions, support complex technical discussions, and assist in resolving quality and performance issues.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and support project engineering for custom display and interface assemblies

· Assist customers with design selection and specification, including displays, touchscreens, keypads, and full interface assemblies

· Serve as a technical resource during customer meetings, calls, and design reviews

· Drive quality investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions when technical issues arise

· Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, suppliers, and quality teams

· Review drawings, schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation

· Help guide product improvements, design optimizations, and manufacturability considerations

· Support new product development, from concept through validation and launch

· Stay current on display, electronics, and interface technologies relevant to OEM applications

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related engineering field) required

o Advanced degree a plus

· 3+ years of hands-on electronics experience (more is welcome)

· Experience with HMI systems and industrial controls

· Experience with board-level design, including component selection and recommendations

· Familiarity with displays, embedded electronics, interface assemblies, or industrial electronics preferred

· Proficent in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Illustrator (or equivalent programs)

· Firmware development and coding experience is a plus

· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

· Comfortable communicating complex technical concepts to customers and internal teams

· Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized

· Thrives in a collaborative, team-based environment
