Job Overview:
The Branch Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of branch operations,
including customer service, branch performance (P&L), adherence to policies and procedures, and compliance with safety protocols. This role also plays a key part in achieving sales targets. The Branch Manager oversees every facet of the branch-staffing, routing, safety, sales, and operational performance to ensure efficient, high-quality service and continued business growth.
Responsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:
- Oversee and be accountable for overall operational performance, ensuring exceptional service quality, financial results, and staff performance.
- Ensure the safety and security of the facility, personnel, equipment, and all related liabilities.
- Assist in managing human, material, and financial resources within the branch.
- Support hiring efforts, establish performance goals, and contribute to training, development, and performance reviews.
- Analyze and interpret performance data to inform decision-making and drive process improvements.
- Anticipate potential issues, prepare proactive solutions, and offer thoughtful recommendations.
Model an open-door leadership style that fosters transparency and constructive dialogue. - Promote exceptional internal and external client service and coach team members on how to consistently deliver it.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Must have the stamina to work 50 to 55 hours per week as needed.
- Armored car or transportation experience is desirable.
- College Education or Military experience is desirable
- Exceptional problem-solving and management skills are required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills are required.
- A positive attitude and ability to be a positive member of a team is required
- Must have excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent recall and retention of information is needed.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work under pressure dictated by event schedules and project timetables.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret written and verbal instructions and reports.
Physical Requirements:
- The ability to travel occasionally within the district
- Sitting for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift and carry pounds occasionally
- Moving about to accomplish tasks
- Reaching overhead, and at or below shoulder level
- Repeating motions, which includes the wrist, hands, and/ or fingers
- Near and far visual acuity
- Use of stairs
- Communicating with others to exchange information
