Senior Quality Analyst

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2-3 days per week - subject to change at any time.
Years of experience in Test strategy & plan creation
2. Proven experience in Creation/Maintenance of automated test scripts
3. Worked on Quality analysis & input into solution designs
4. Familiarity with Junit, TestNG, Selenium Driver, REST APIs, JSON schemas, etc.
5. Experience/Knowledge in mutual fund industry is a must

1. Analyze business and design requirements and create automated test plan & strategy using risk-based approach
2. Maintain open communications channels with all project's stakeholders to ensure the applications are at the highest possible level of quality
3. Perform automated testing script creation and maintenance
4. Execute Load-Test and Performance testing duties
5. Run and maintain test automation scripts for regression testing
6. Ensure that code meets security benchmarks by reviewing and signing off on reports
7. Participate in architectural and software design reviews to understand the technical flows and testing scope

You've demonstrated the ability to do the following, gained through education and/or experience:
1. Utilize an automation test framework of web-based and back-end applications with api integrations.
2. Utilize Java for testing frameworks like Junit, TestNG, selenium driver, playwright.
3. Tested REST APIs with XML and JSON data standards.
4. Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git, Qtest, cucumber and Jenkins.
5. Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure agile environment.
6. Conduct troubleshooting into issues and provide solutions.
7. Display a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
The following is not required but will be a bonus:
1. Experience with Azure Data Services, sFTP, Apache Tomcat, LDAP
2. Knowledge of Kubernetes and docker containers
3. Knowledge of azure app services, APIM, AKS, developer portal
4. Knowledge of mutual funds, equities, CDS/ATON, DTCC systems/ data/API standards.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications.
