Certified Nursing Assistant

We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.

Care Pavilion is a 396 bed facility located in West Philadelphia. Under the direction of new leadership, we are striving to bring the best quality daily and long term care to our Residents. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides nursing and nursing related services to residents consistent with each resident's comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care. Resident care is provided according to the "Flow of Care" in a manner that meets the resident's physical, mental, and psycho-social needs and enables the individual to attain or maintain the highest practicable level of functioning. The CNA maintains a "homelike environment for the residents, protects and promotes Resident Rights and assists the person to maintain independence and control to the greatest extent possible.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care under direction of nursing staff
• Assist in the transport of patients
• Provide companionship and basic care to patients
• Maintain a clean and healthy environment

Qualifications:

• CNA Certification in the state of PA
• Previous experience in nursing, patient care, or other related fields
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Ability to work well in teams
