Hostess/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional customer service. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcome and valued.
• Manage reservations and waitlists effectively to optimize seating arrangements.
• Provide accurate information about menu items and specials to guests.
• Handle cash transactions using the POS system, with accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist with phone inquiries, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing guest needs.
• Collaborate with servers to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Address guest concerns or complaints promptly, providing solutions to enhance their experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to assist guests effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others contribute to a team-oriented atmosphere.
