We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in menu planning and development, ensuring variety and seasonal offerings.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
  • Handle food safely and responsibly, ensuring proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality meal preparation for large groups.
  • Uphold fine dining standards in presentation and service.

Skills

  • Proven experience in the culinary field, including restaurant or fine dining experience.
  • Strong food preparation skills with an emphasis on cooking techniques and knife skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
  • Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus.
  • Ability to plan menus that cater to various dietary needs and preferences.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
