Data Analyst

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team and support data-driven decision-making across various projects. The ideal candidate will have expertise in data analysis, visualization, and database management, with a strong understanding of analytics tools and methodologies. This role involves transforming complex data into actionable insights, developing dashboards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes. Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using tools such as SQL, R, Python, and ETL processes.
• Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other BI tools to communicate insights effectively.
• Design and maintain databases with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and database design principles.
• Implement data integration solutions using Talend, Bash (Unix shell), and other ETL tools to streamline data workflows.
• Conduct business analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with project management teams following Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices to deliver timely solutions.
• Document processes and workflows using Visio or similar tools to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Engage in business analysis activities including requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and solution validation.
• Stay current with emerging analytics technologies such as Looker, Linked data integration, VBA automation, and analytics techniques.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating data visualization, analysis skills, and database management.
• Proficiency in SQL programming for querying databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker for creating dashboards and reports.
• Familiarity with programming languages including R and Python for statistical analysis and automation tasks.
• Knowledge of ETL processes using Talend or similar tools for data integration.
• Understanding of SDLC processes within Agile environments for project management.
• Strong business analysis skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience working with Unix shell scripting (Bash) for data processing tasks is a plus.
• Excellent analytical thinking skills combined with attention to detail to interpret complex datasets accurately.
