JOB DESCRIPTION

Manage and direct the day to day operations of the facility in an effective, efficient manner. This position is a safety sensitive position as defined by applicable state law.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Valid State Issued Administrator License

· Experience as an Administrator preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF JOB:

· Walking, reaching, bending, lifting, grasping, pushing/pulling, fine hand coordination, ability to understand and follow written/oral instructions and directions; ability to communicate with residents, families, outside agencies and consultants, and the ability to remain calm under stress.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Assuring Resident safety.

· Manage and organized the facilities daily operation though on-site presence in facility, utilization of department heads, and delegation of tasks.

· Ensure patient funds maintained by the facility are managed in accordance with current Federal and State regulations, and that appropriate accounting records are maintained as directed.

· Review all patient complaints and grievances, along with written reports of action taken. Discuss with patient and family as appropriate.

· Maintain written policies and procedures.

· Represent the facility in dealings with outside agencies, including governmental agencies and third party payers, or provide an authorized representative of the facility when unable to attend such meetings.

· Make routine inspections of the facility.

· Participate in and act upon facility surveys (inspections).

· Delegate a responsible staff member to act in your behalf when you are absent from the facility.

· Ensure a quality assurance program is in place and schedule/participate in quality assurance committee meetings. Participate in Departmental meetings, including daily meetings.

· Consult with department heads concerning the operation of their departments to assist in problem areas.

· Serve as liaison to the Medical Director and other Consultants.

· Assist department heads in the planning, conducting, and scheduling of training and orientation programs.

· Conduct Performance evaluations for all department heads and other employees, as requested.

· Attend and participate in workshops, seminars to maintain a professional status.

· Ensure that the building and grounds are maintained in good repair.

· Serve as the facilities Section 1557 Officer and Privacy Officer.

· Oversee and be responsible for facilities compliance requirements.

· Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and time billing.

· Manage Resident Census.

· Maintain confidentiality of resident and facility information.

· Observe all facility safety policies and procedures, infection control procedures, and other applicable policies and procedures.

· Read and become familiar with the Emergency Management Plan.

· These duties and responsibilities are not a comprehensive list. Additional tasks/duties may be assigned as needed. The scope of this position may change as necessitated by Business demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90, $97,000.00 per year
