Internal salary: Range 17 - Steps 1-13 $52,513.47 – $84,058.00
External salary: Range 17 – Steps 1-4 - $52, $60,399.60
UNION POSITIONS: The internal salary range is used for applicants who are current NJ state employees with underlying classified status for promotional calculations who meet the requirements below. The external salary range is used for candidates who are not NJ state employees who meet the requirements below.

Under the direction of the Assistant Director of Professional Development & Talent, the Human Resources Student Employment Support Specialist is responsible for creating a positive experience for TCNJ students seeking employment and hiring managers through administrative excellence. The ideal candidate must have attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of college personnel and off-campus employers. The ideal candidate must possess great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
The Human Resources Student Employment Assistant must be able to interpret and apply federal, state and institutional rules and regulations governing the eligibility of workers. This position is primarily customer service focused, and will assist with all facets of hiring (student, staff, faculty, temporary), as well as departmental support.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a primary point of contact for entire student employment recruitment cycle.
- Works directly with students and hiring managers for on campus employment inquiries.
- Collaborates directly with Payroll Services and the Office of Budget and Finance to make ensure
