Brief Description
Ready to put some incredible work experience on your resume? This Software Engineer Intern will work closely with an international software development team developing applications for Vivacity Tech.

This is an unpaid, fully remote internship for college credit. Starting January 7th 2026, this internship will be 14 weeks long and will require 20 hours a week.

If Hired as a Software Engineer Intern, you will...

  • Develop and maintain software applications using modern programming languages and frameworks
  • Collaborate with senior developers on feature implementation and bug fixes
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established development practices
  • Contribute to both front-end and back-end development projects
  • Use to manage your development tasks and sprint workflow
  • Write code in TypeScript (React on the frontend, Node on the backend)
  • Write unit tests for all code that you write
  • Communicate with a PostgreSQL database
  • Work closely with a mentor
  • Gain professional experience in full-stack development

What Excellent Skills and Abilities Will You Possess?

  • The ability to work independently and to research problems and solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent skills in a software development environment
  • Knowledge of JavaScript is a must; knowledge of TypeScript is preferred
  • Experience with agile software development
  • Eager to learn and grow

What Education & Experience Levels Are We Looking For?

  • High school diploma required
  • Currently studying in a technical field
