We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized behavior intervention plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and strengths.
- Develop, implement, and monitor customized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to measure progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy sessions to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct intake assessments to determine eligibility for services and develop initial treatment plans.
- Educate families and caregivers on behavioral strategies, progress updates, and best practices for supporting ongoing development.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and behavioral therapy methodologies.
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
- Strong data collection skills to track client progress accurately over time.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, patient assessment procedures, and medical records management.
- Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to diverse needs.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance standards related to medical documentation and confidentiality.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers.
