Responsibilities:
- Conduct residential real estate closings
- Draft legal documents, including wills, trusts, pleadings, motions, contracts, and agreements
- Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice area

Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Kentucky Bar

  • Admission to the Indiana Bar a plus
  • Strong knowledge of statutes, legal principles and court procedures involved with Probate, Wills and Trusts
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound advice
  • Proficiency in legal drafting and document review

  • Experience using Wealthcounsel, Courtnet, and Qualia

  • Experience with litigation, negotiation, and client representation
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

  • Willingness to learn, adapt, develop and take on more responsibilities over time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $78,717.00 per year
