Epic Beacon Analyst

We are seeking a certified Epic Beacon Analyst with 3+ years of experience, including participation in at least one full Epic Beacon implementation.
This is currently estimated to be a 6 month project, although could be extended.
The analyst will play a key role in supporting the migration, configuration, and optimization of Beacon within our client's healthcare system. This position focuses on system build, workflow analysis, testing, reporting, and end-user support, working closely with clinical teams, IT staff, and Epic representatives to ensure a successful transition and stable post-go-live environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and validate Epic Beacon build components to support system migration and ongoing optimization.
• Perform workflow assessments and recommend system enhancements to improve clinical efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Conduct data validation, reporting, and quality assurance activities throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and training coordination as needed.
• Collaborate with clinical stakeholders, technical teams, and Epic representatives to ensure alignment across workflows and system functionality.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, workflows, enhancements, and testing results.
• Participate in testing events, go-live support, stabilization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of healthcare IT experience working with Epic systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one full Epic Beacon implementation.

Certifications

• Epic Beacon Certification (required).
