Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee operations at our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service management and/or the family entertainment industry. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.

Duties
- Lead and manage daily operations of the facility, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
- Oversee shift management to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and maintain operational efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and develop team members to foster a positive work environment and enhance staff performance.
- Implement effective strategies for team management, ensuring all staff adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of food, alcohol and supplies.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe environment for both employees and customers.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution that enhances guest satisfaction.
- Prepare reports on operational performance, including sales trends, labor costs, and customer feedback.
- Continue to develop business based on data and trends of the local market
- Attend bi-weekly leadership meetings with corporate directors
- Monitor and manage labor to run in line with revenue
- Represent the company at local events and by being involved in the community through various organizations such as the Chamber of Commerce
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or hospitality management, preferably in a fast paced setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in shift management with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations including cooking processes, banquet services, and customer service best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Schedule
- 40 to 50 hours/week
- Weekends and holidays as needed
- General Managers typically work Tuesdays through Saturdays with Friday and Saturdays being on the floor for a mid-shift, especially during holiday season and school breaks.
- Attend off-site events outside of normal business hours to develop business
