Chamberlain Advisors is partnering with a leading equity derivatives clearing organization to hire an experienced
Senior Network Solutions Engineer.
This engineer is responsible for the ongoing design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise networking solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. This role executes day-to-day network changes as part of BAU operations, supports project delivery activities, and contributes directly to successful project closure. The engineer will collaborate closely with network engineering, security, and project management teams to identify risks, resolve issues, and remove delivery obstacles.

What You Will Be Accountable For

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex network infrastructure solutions across data center, cloud, and hybrid environments.
  • Execute routine and advanced networking changes as part of daily operations and BAU activities.
  • Support project execution by providing architecture input, performing implementation tasks, validating requirements, and ensuring readiness for project closure.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to assess risks, track issues to resolution, and eliminate roadblocks to project progress.
  • Implement and optimize Cisco ACI and AWS networking solutions, including integration of network automation where applicable.
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN architectures and related technologies.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco networking products, firewall platforms, and related security controls.
  • Use network management and monitoring tools to maintain visibility, performance, and reliability.
  • Create technical documentation, presentations, and status reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to project planning efforts, including timeline estimation, resource forecasting, and milestone definition.

What Qualifications You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 7–10 years of experience implementing and supporting complex network solutions.
  • Strong expertise with Cisco ACI, AWS networking services, and network automation practices.
  • Proven ability to design and implement cloud networking architectures.
  • Deep knowledge of core network protocols, concepts, and architectures.
  • Advanced experience with Cisco networking technologies and platforms.
  • Hands-on experience managing firewalls and applying operational firewall best practices.
  • Extensive experience deploying and supporting LAN/WAN infrastructures.
  • Cisco certifications preferred (e.g., CCNP, CCIE) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, ThousandEyes, DNAC).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to interpret project requirements, estimate resource needs, and contribute to milestone and timeline development.
