Fortiva are delighted to be partnering with an Owner's Representative firm in New York to help recruit an Estimator to support a range of Infrastructure projects across the city, working with a bespoke mix of public and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates across all projects in the preconstruction stage.
• Develop and maintain cost plans, reports, and cash flows aligned with project scope.
• Manage RFPs, analyze bids, and provide commercial recommendations.
• Support value engineering and cost-risk management activities.
• Price changes and variations throughout design and delivery.
• Maintain strong awareness of market rates and infrastructure cost drivers.
• Perform benchmarking and support cost database development.
• Deliver clear cost presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while supporting timely delivery.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in estimating, cost management, or quantity surveying, preferably within infrastructure or heavy civil projects.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure construction methods and cost structures.
• Experience working with owners, consultants, and contractors.
• Ability to assess risk, change, and cost impacts.
• High attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
