**Primary work is governmental work with prevailing wages based on contract requirements. Some non-rate projects are performed occasionally.**

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in construction labor positions specifically within commercial construction environments. Extensive experience involving physical labor, operating construction tools/ equipment, site preparation, assisting equipment operators, jobsite conduct and safety, etc. is required. Candidates must be physically capable of performing manual labor activities relating to heavy lifting, digging, and standing for long periods of time in a variety of weather and work conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and moving heavy materials.
• Collaborate with project managers as well as other operators/laborers to ensure project objectives are met in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and company policies to ensure a safe work environment is maintained (avoiding safety hazards and dangerous working conditions).
• Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
• Assist equipment operators by spotting and directing their operations.
• Extensive experience operating hand and power tools.
• Please note: Construction experience should include skills specific to: Excavation and earthmoving, underground utilities, land clearing, pipeline and sewer, site development, as well as civil work.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations, PA OneCall system, reading site plans/ blueprints, etc.

Pay: $ $47.00 per hour
