CLASS A DRIVERS

We have an immediate need in Austin, TX for a Full Time, Class A driver who wants to be part of a growing industry, enjoy a fast paced environment, adapt to change and love being on the move.

Salary: $25-$27 per hour

Hours: Monday–Friday, AM shift with varying start times (as early as 4:00 a.m. and as late as 8:00 p.m., primarily daytime hours). Saturday and Sunday as needed.

Job requirements

• 2+ years experience
• Willing to work a Monday through Friday and some weekends when needed.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to lift 75 pounds.
• Flatbed experience or willing to learn.
• Hazmat and tanker certification preferred.
• Able to pass a drug/ background check.
• Ability to pass TSA mandated Security Threat Analysis (STA) and Drug test.
• Knowledge of Commercial Vehicle Rules and Regulations.

Essential Duties·

• Keeping paperwork and cargo supplies organized to facilitate a smooth workflow.
• Responsible for occasional route coverage to absence of other drivers.
• Load, secure, inspect and fuel before and as necessary during your shift.
• Immediately report any problems during the route to the immediate supervisor.
• Assist in helping other drivers during load outs to maintain a safe work environment.
• Keep assigned Truck and work area at Terminal organized and clean for safety and efficiency.
• Tarp, Strap and Chain (when required) all loads to Federal Cargo Requirements.
• Sense of urgency and commitment to customer service.
