We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Investment Operations Associate to join our dynamic financial services team. Responsibilities
- Assist with daily investment operations including trade processing, settlement, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Support fraud prevention and detection initiatives by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity.
- Ensure compliance with securities law, GAAP, SOX regulations, and other relevant financial standards.
- Prepare and review regulatory reports and ensure adherence to governmental accounting requirements.
- Conduct financial analysis related to investment portfolios, cash management, and corporate accounting activities.
- Maintain and update financial software systems used for transaction processing and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams on audit preparations and support external audits related to investment activities.
- Assist in implementing best practices for operational efficiency within the investment management process.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in public accounting, financial analysis, or investment management is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of financial concepts such as cash management, securities law, regulatory reporting, and financial software tools.
- Familiarity with technical accounting standards including GAAP, SOX compliance, and governmental accounting practices.
- Experience with fraud prevention techniques and understanding of banking or financial services operations is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills combined with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of investment processes, risk management principles, and regulatory frameworks relevant to the financial industry.
