Baker

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Baker to join our team, with a primary focus on breads and yeasted donuts. This role also supports overall bakery production and will assist with other products as needed to meet daily demands. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, efficient, and passionate about quality baked goods.

Primary Duties

• Prepare, mix, ferment, shape, proof, and bake a variety of breads and yeasted donuts according to shop standards and recipes
• Monitor dough fermentation, proofing times, and baking to ensure consistent quality
• Maintain production schedules to ensure fresh products are ready for daily service

Additional Production Support

• Assist with the production of other bakery items (cake donuts, fillings, glazes, toppings, pastries, etc.) as needed
• Help with finishing, decorating, and prepping products for display and service
• Support high-volume production during busy periods

General Duties

• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment in compliance with health regulations
• Properly operate and maintain bakery equipment
• Assist with inventory, prep lists, and ingredient organization
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior baking experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining consistency
• Strong time-management skills and ability to work early mornings
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Team-oriented with a willingness to help wherever needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working around ovens, fryers, and bakery equipment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $21.00 per hour
