The Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for testing units and parts for various quality defects to include cosmetic, form, fit and function of components or completed units. In addition, this position is responsible for conducting root cause analysis and investigations to recommend and implement corrective action ensuring that defects are reduced or eliminated.

What You'll Do
- Perform testing of multiple different machines, accessories, notions and software and post updates to the appropriate website
- Report defect data through various reporting tools
- Identify root cause of issues and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Work directly with management, manufacturers, and support teams to implement corrective actions, including tracking, analysis and reporting on the effectiveness of corrective actions
- Work directly with the manufacturer to integrate results from product testing for existing product into current manuals, and to develop manuals for new product, including reviewing and providing recommended editing to ensure all products and manuals meet Tacony quality standards
- Lead quality initiatives and meetings to disseminate quality data to stakeholders
- Conduct product training for entire sewing division
- Monitor competitors and sewing trends to evaluate and recommend future enhancements and products
- Troubleshoot issues as presented by various groups and recommend solutions to resolve issues
- Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as needed
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- At least 3 years of sewing experience with sewing/overlock/embroidery/quilting machines and techniques
- Strong attention to detail, team player, and excellent communication skills
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office, Adobe DC, Outlook and exposure to file upload/download to file sharing sites
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Understanding of general product development processes and flows
