Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitor stock levels and identify items requiring replenishment or adjustment.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of inventory to prevent damage or loss.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to improve inventory accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and the proper use of PPE.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in inventory management.
- Must be able to perform occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or in a similar inventory management role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of inventory control best practices and logistics operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the use of PPE.
