We are seeking a dependable Material Handler to join our vibrant team in San Jose, California. In this role, you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing the flow of materials. Responsibilities include receiving, storing, and shipping goods, ensuring all items are handled with care and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Unload and load incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies upon receipt.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory in designated locations.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and competently.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all established safety protocols and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
Must be capable of consistent heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is a strong advantage. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a proactive attitude. A thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures is essential. Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to excellent performance. Willingness to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
