We are looking for a dedicated Fulfillment Associate to join our growing team in Boston, Massachusetts. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will play a vital role in our e-commerce operations, handling various tasks related to order processing, inventory management, and shipment preparation. This position requires a proactive approach, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and correctly, contributing to our reputation for excellent service within the logistics industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment with accuracy and speed.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Ensure all shipments are labeled correctly and meet carrier requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Handle product returns and ensure proper documentation.
Qualifications:
Must be able to handle frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Previous experience in fulfillment, warehousing, or a related logistics field is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Understanding and adherence to safety standards is mandatory. A can-do attitude and willingness to learn are highly valued.
