We are hiring experienced Forklift Operators to join our busy Atlanta, Georgia warehouse. This position is essential for the efficient movement of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move materials, and assist with inventory management. A strong understanding of forklift safety protocols and warehouse operations is required. Your role will directly impact the flow of our logistics chain. We are committed to providing a safe working environment and expect all operators to be diligent in following safety procedures and using required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items to and from designated areas.
- Stack and arrange materials efficiently and securely.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily and report any issues or required maintenance.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts.
- Follow all safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and the use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support other warehouse operations as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of forklift safety procedures and best practices.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
