Responsibilities:
- Read and understand pick lists or digital order forms.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory accurately.
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities before moving to packing.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of picking areas.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and wearing required PPE.
- Participate in inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Report any stock discrepancies or damaged items to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly and standing for long hours.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and inventory principles.
- Willingness to comply with all safety rules and wear assigned PPE.
- Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively in a team.
