We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role is crucial to our logistics operations, ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and movement of goods. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and prepping orders for shipment, and participating in inventory counts. You will work closely with other team members to ensure all warehouse operations run smoothly and meet daily targets. Attention to safety protocols is paramount, and you will be expected to adhere to all company guidelines regarding the proper use of equipment and handling of materials. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
- Stock and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Assist with regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and the use of PPE.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong commitment to safety.
