We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily operations at our facility in Provo, Utah. This key role involves coordinating the flow of materials, managing inventory levels, supervising warehouse staff, and ensuring that all logistics processes are executed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of warehouse management systems, and a proven track record in logistics operations. You will be responsible for maintaining a productive and secure environment, optimizing workflow, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. This is a critical position for maintaining the integrity of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff in daily tasks.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations.
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory management procedures.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely movement of goods.
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures, including PPE usage.
- Conduct regular safety audits and training for staff.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning.
- Prepare reports on inventory levels, operational performance, and logistics costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Facilitate proper techniques for Lifting and material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Coordinator or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and experience implementing safety programs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate tasks effectively.
- Experience with heavy Lifting and operating various warehouse equipment.
- Must be proficient in ensuring staff adheres to PPE requirements.
