We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. You will be expected to meet performance targets related to picking accuracy and speed. This role requires consistent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and some lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify product information against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Operate hand trucks and other equipment as needed to move inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to warehouse safety standards.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to inventory immediately.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and order progress.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and handling of goods.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Familiarity with safety procedures and the use of PPE is required.
