We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in San Diego, California. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, stocking, and fulfilling material orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all products.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, adhering to all warehouse safety standards.
- Identify and report any damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including strict adherence to PPE requirements.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, demonstrating a commitment to teamwork.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Understand the importance of safety in all warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus. A commitment to safety and the ability to wear required PPE is mandatory. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks. We encourage candidates with experience in logistics and distribution to apply. Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
