Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to shipping manifests.
- Verify shipment contents against orders to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare shipping labels and documentation for all outgoing packages.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Maintain organized shipping and receiving areas.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially concerning safety and quality control.
- Operate shipping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding shipment status.
- Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding the handling and transportation of goods.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a shipping or warehouse role preferred.
- Familiarity with shipping software and procedures.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
