Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and sort incoming merchandise accurately.
- Pick and prepare orders for shipment with speed and precision.
- Load outgoing shipments onto trucks, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as trained.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to company standards.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and assist with stock management.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure operational efficiency and product integrity.
- Engage in safe lifting practices for all materials handled.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Commitment to safety and knowledge of PPE requirements.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
