We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets and preparing them for shipment. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy will be essential in minimizing errors and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to maintain an organized and productive work environment. This position offers a stable work schedule and the opportunity to grow within our expanding company. We prioritize a safe and supportive workplace, and all necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided. The ability to perform tasks involving moderate lifting is required. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment as required, following all safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity goals.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to perform moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
