We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our Miami, Florida facility. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting warehouse equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our **logistics** systems. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, and ensuring all equipment meets **safety** standards. A strong technical background and commitment to **safety** are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct **safety** inspections and ensure all equipment is compliant with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment.
- Ensure all **PPE** is used correctly during maintenance operations.
- Support the overall **logistics** and operational efficiency of the warehouse.
- Operate equipment safely when necessary for testing and repair purposes, including **Lifting** of components.
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and **safety**.
- Respond to urgent equipment issues to ensure minimal disruption to **logistics**.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical certification or degree in a relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Technician, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Knowledge of warehouse **safety** procedures and **PPE** requirements.
- Understanding of **logistics** operations and equipment needs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **Lifting** up to 50 pounds.
