Join our dynamic team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, as a Picker/Packer! We are seeking motivated individuals to contribute to our efficient warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory, carefully packing them, and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are critical for ensuring customer satisfaction and the smooth functioning of our logistics pipeline. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily targets in a fast-paced environment. We place a high emphasis on safety, requiring all employees to strictly follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Your commitment to a safe working space and efficient task completion is highly valued. This position demands physical stamina, including significant standing, walking, and lifting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning technology.
- Inspect items for damage or defects.
- Pack orders efficiently and securely using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Stage completed orders in the designated shipping area.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of your workstation and surrounding areas.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts as directed.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Report any operational issues or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a picker/packer or similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform consistent physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Team-oriented and able to collaborate with colleagues.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory systems is helpful.
