Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced New York City operations as an Inventory Control Specialist! We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. Your responsibilities will include conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, reconciling stock levels, and implementing inventory control procedures. This role is critical to our logistics and supply chain efficiency, ensuring that we have the right products in the right place at the right time. You will work closely with warehouse staff, management, and other departments to ensure data integrity and optimize stock flow. A strong understanding of inventory management systems and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, including the use of PPE, are essential. Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Reconcile stock levels with system records.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyze inventory data and generate reports.
  • Work with the logistics team to ensure efficient stock movement.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of inventory.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure correct usage of required PPE.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse/logistics role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks as needed, including occasional Lifting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
