We are hiring energetic Order Pickers to join our vibrant logistics team in Miami, Florida! As an Order Picker, your primary responsibility will be accurately and efficiently gathering items from warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is fundamental to our fulfillment process, requiring precision, speed, and a keen eye for detail. You will operate a forklift or other machinery to retrieve items, scan products, and ensure the correct quantities are picked. Maintaining a safe and organized workspace is paramount. You will be trained on and expected to follow all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operating procedures for all equipment. This position involves considerable physical activity, including walking, bending, and lifting, so physical stamina is essential. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using a scanner and order list.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify picked items and quantities against order details.
- Pack items securely for shipment.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper PPE usage.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous order picking experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Familiarity with RF scanners.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
