Our Baltimore, Maryland facility is seeking enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our dedicated warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking products for customer orders and efficiently packing them for shipment. You will play a vital part in our supply chain and logistics, ensuring that our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. This position requires attention to detail, speed, and a commitment to quality. You will work with various shipping materials and equipment, ensuring products are protected during transit. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace Safety; all team members are required to follow established Safety protocols and utilize the provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The job involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and movement throughout the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Select and gather products for customer orders based on pick tickets.
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing.
- Package products securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during shipping.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Stage packed orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics department.
- Strictly follow all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Perform other warehouse tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in picking and packing or warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret order details and product information.
- Experience with packing materials and methods.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Physical capacity to handle consistent Lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and wearing required PPE.
