We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic warehouse team in Denver, Colorado. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory records, managing stock levels, and implementing efficient inventory control procedures. This role is crucial to our overall logistics operations, impacting product availability and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with various departments, including receiving, shipping, and sales, to maintain optimal inventory flow. Your attention to detail will be paramount in identifying discrepancies, conducting cycle counts, and resolving inventory issues. We are committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks involving Lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and physical verification.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Assist in receiving and put-away processes, ensuring items are correctly identified and stored.
- Prepare inventory reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness to facilitate efficient inventory management.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize warehouse layout and product placement.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Participate in training sessions on inventory management best practices and Safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar warehouse role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to perform tasks involving significant Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and prolonged periods of standing.
- Familiarity with warehouse Safety procedures and the use of PPE.
