We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking orders, meticulously packing items for shipment, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our distribution center. Your primary goal will be to contribute to the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders, maintaining high standards of quality and productivity. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly with shipping information.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment environment is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Experience with lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures.
- Basic understanding of logistics and inventory management is beneficial.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
