We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is vital for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include counting, tracking, and verifying inventory, as well as assisting with stock organization and cycle counts. A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy are paramount. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies. We emphasize a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety protocols, including the use of PPE, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory counts.
- Verify inventory records against physical stock.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory data.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Organize and maintain warehouse stock for efficient access.
- Assist with receiving and put-away of incoming inventory.
- Track inventory movement and report any issues.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to inventory management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory control or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency with inventory management software/WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform light to moderate lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory principles.
- Strong organizational skills.
