Product Development Project Manager (m/f/d)
Your tasks:- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept to post-launch improvements.
- Plan and control projects, including objectives, scope, deliverables, resources, budget, milestones, and risk management.
- Ensure projects meet performance, quality, cost, and time-to-market targets, securing robust industrialization and market introduction.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, and obsolescence management for products in series life.
- Facilitate communication and decision-making among stakeholders and external partners, resolving conflicts and aligning priorities.
- Apply and improve project management standards, tools, and processes, ensuring complete and compliant documentation.
- Provide clear reporting on project status, KPIs, risks, and decisions to management and governance bodies.
- Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field; additional certification in Project Management (PMI, IPMA, Prince2, Agile) is a plus
- 5+ years of experience in project management in an industrial environment, ideally in product development
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary projects across design, industrialization, manufacturing, logistics, and market introduction
- Experience with series life-cycle management (continuous improvement, cost reduction, obsolescence) is an advantage
- Strong understanding of project management principles, product development processes, and manufacturing constraints
- Knowledge and practices of AI tools is an asset
- Skilled in project management tools and structured problem-solving
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to motivate cross-functional teams and manage trade-offs
- Highly organized, proactive, and results-oriented with strong customer and market focus
- Fluent in English; position based in Tuttlingen with occasional travel
