We are seeking experienced and certified Forklift Operators to join our busy distribution center in Boston, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials within the warehouse. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. A paramount focus is placed on **Safety**, and adherence to all **Safety** protocols, including the mandatory use of **PPE**, is expected. This role requires precision and control, as well as the ability to perform **Lifting** and maneuvering of materials. As a Forklift Operator, you are a critical component of our **Logistics** network, ensuring the smooth and timely movement of inventory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas, such as storage racks and production lines.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including put-away and retrieval.
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all **Safety** regulations and company policies.
- Wear all required **PPE**.
- Perform **Lifting** and moving of materials as part of operations.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of **Logistics** operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Knowledge of warehouse **Logistics** and **Safety** procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including **Lifting**.
- Commitment to wearing **PPE**.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to **Safety**.
