In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory and carefully packing them for shipment to our customers. Your speed, accuracy, and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment will be crucial. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect picked items for accuracy in quantity and condition.
- Pack items securely and appropriately into shipping containers.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled for shipment.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established performance standards for picking and packing efficiency.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks as required.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
- Must be able to perform regular lifting of up to 45 pounds.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Willingness to wear and use required PPE.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
