We are seeking a diligent Warehouse Associate to join our facility in Durham, North Carolina. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, involving the accurate handling, storage, and movement of inventory. Your responsibilities will include receiving goods, stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, committed to safety, and possess the physical stamina required for warehouse work. Adherence to all safety regulations, including proper PPE usage and safe lifting techniques, is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, and store incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items for orders using scanning devices or pick tickets.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring product integrity and correct labeling.
- Prepare outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management tasks.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or inventory control experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
