Join our expanding logistics center in Huntsville, Alabama, as a Fulfillment Associate! We are seeking enthusiastic and dependable individuals to contribute to our order fulfillment process. Your primary duties will involve picking accurate items from inventory, carefully packing them for shipment, and ensuring the quality and integrity of all outgoing products. This role is crucial for maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics network. Familiarity with warehouse procedures, adherence to safety guidelines, and proper use of PPE are expected.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse stock using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Inspect picked items for any damage or defects.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate materials to prevent shipping damage.
- Label packages correctly for shipment and stage them for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all established procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock put-away.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and box cutters safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Demonstrate proper lifting techniques for items up to 50 pounds.
- Contribute to team goals and ensure timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, e-commerce, or fulfillment environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety and operational procedures.
- Excellent work ethic and reliability.
