Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator ready for an exciting opportunity in San Francisco, California? We are seeking a skilled individual to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment within our logistics facility. Your role will be essential in moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of your equipment is paramount, along with adhering to all company Safety policies and wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves significant physical activity and the ability to perform Lifting when necessary. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently.
- Move materials to and from designated storage areas.
- Stack and stage inventory according to warehouse layout.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes as needed.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including the use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Perform occasional Lifting of items when required.
- Collaborate with warehouse associates and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all logistics procedures to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Report any unsafe conditions or accidents immediately.
- Ensure accurate placement and tracking of materials.
- Contribute to a safe and productive team atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety standards and best practices.
- Commitment to wearing required PPE at all times.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting.
- Familiarity with logistics and warehouse operations.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
