Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced warehouse in Orlando, Florida, as an Inventory Control Specialist! This critical role is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will perform regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, manage stock levels, and implement procedures to minimize errors and loss. Your analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail will be vital in optimizing stock accuracy and contributing to overall operational excellence. We are dedicated to providing a safe working environment, and adherence to all safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is essential. This position involves regular lifting and requires a good understanding of inventory systems and logistics principles. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure proper organization and storage of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with receiving and shipping teams to manage inventory flow.
  • Report on inventory accuracy, stock rotation, and potential obsolescence.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse management, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with WMS and inventory management software.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
